The story starts with Dr. Pareshe Jahanzeb’s travelling towards north Pakistan, she is educated, strong and dignify girl of Islamabad. Pareshe travels with her friend Nisha for tourism. This travel towards north areas seems a campaign but in actual it changes their life.
They are wonder by long trees, natural beautiful scenes and ice mountain. These scenes create a curious in their life’s journey. During this they meet Afaq Arslan, a Turkish resident and expert in mountaineers and climbing. Afaq is an energetic boy and have come to head Rakaposhi.
As the novel move on their meeting seem an accident but with the passage of time both start inspiring each other’s ideology and personality. This part of the novel is very interesting in a ways when two different culture background meet and come close to nature. Afaq personality is attractive and serious while Dr. Pareshe character is bold, courage and talkative.
Pareshe is a expert climber. She joins Afaq’s team for climbing up on Rakaposhi. This journey does not prove beneficial for them. The face bad weather and natural challenges during this campaign. Another team member Arsa was also included in this campaign. Arsa meets to death.
Arsa’s death incident break emotionally both Afaq and Pareshe. Afaq also injured at one time and Pareshe help and guide him including all team. From here a new bond of relationship start between them.
The second part of the novel start when the earthquake occurred in 2005 in Pakistan. Pareshe goes to north areas for helping people. Afaq is also there, they meet again and start working for people welfare.
In the last part of the novel Afaq climb up the mountain and write the name of Pareshe on stone. He leaves his love and sign for Pareshe and it becomes a memorable moment for their love.

Afaq Arslan:
Afaq is a young climber. He believes in taking action more than expression. He climb up the mountain and write Pareshe name on the stone which show his love for her. At the earthquake time he joins Pareshe and helps the helpless people.
Nisha:
Nisha is the best friend of Pareshe. She plays her role as a helper in times of hardships. She has a strong personality like Pareshe. She is an expert in making friends.
Arsa:
Arsa is a mountaineer and friend of Parshe. She has to lose her life during the campaign. Her death turns the complete story of the novel. Her death turns Afaq and Pareshe into a love story.
